Thank you for expressing an interest in volunteering with American Red Cross of Cache County! Volunteers are very valuable members of our team. There are a few things you need to complete before getting started. The following is a list of those tasts and instructions on completeing them.
STEP 1: Take our self-assessment to see if the Red Cross is the right volunteer opportunity for you.
STEP 2: View our list of position descriptions.
STEP 3: Please print and fill out all of the following forms:

When you have completed the forms please schedule an interview with Judy Loper, Volunteer Coordinator, and bring these forms to your interview.
STEP 4: Complete a background check through MyBackgroundCheck.com. You will be prompted for information such as you name, address, date of birth, and social security number. This is a secure website and no one will have access to your personal information. We will only be notified of the status of the background check. STEP 5: Review the Volunteer Handbook. The American Red Cross of Cache County has developed a Volunteer Handbook for the purpose of providing you with important information about the Chapter, volunteer policies, etc. It is your responsibility to be familiar with the handbook. Please review the handbook carefully and print and sign the last page of the handbook titled "Acknowledgement and Receipt of Handbook" and return the document to Judy Loper.
STEP 6: As a Red Cross Volunteer it is important to understand the mission and fundamental principles of the Red Cross and how your position as a volunteer fits into that mission. Every Red Cross Volunteer is asked to complete a Volulnteer Orientation, which helps familiarize you with the organization and our important work. Complete each module of the Online Orientation. There is not a certificate of completion.
STEP 7: Completed forms may be e-mailed to Judy Loper as attachments. Bring all forms that require a signiture to your interview. To schedule an interview contact Judy Loper or call (801) 627-0000.
